The much-anticipated first single from “Indian 2” has been officially launched in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. Titled “Souraa” in Telugu, the song has captivated audiences with Anirudh’s mesmerizing composition, living up to the high expectations set by AR Rahman’s iconic music for the original “Indian/Bharateeyudu.”
Anirudh faced some initial criticism for the background score in the film’s first glimpse, but “Souraa” marks a triumphant comeback. The song skillfully blends a fast-beat tempo with beautifully composed melody portions. The powerful lyrics, penned by Suddala Ashok Teja, vividly depict the valor of Kamal Haasan’s character in the film. Vocalists Ritesh G Rao and Shruthika Samudra deliver a rendition that matches the intensity of the lyrics and the tune.
Produced by Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies, “Indian 2” features an ensemble cast including Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth, Bobby Simha, SJ Suryah, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Samuthirakani, and Brahmanandam.
