Legal Hurdles for “Jolly LLB 3” as Ajmer District Bar Association Raises Concerns

The highly anticipated Bollywood film “Jolly LLB 3,” starring Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, faces legal challenges as the Ajmer District Bar Association voices objections. The association, led by president Chandrabhan Singh Rathod, alleges that the movie portrays lawyers and judges disrespectfully, potentially undermining public trust in the judicial system. Rathod has taken the matter to the Civil Judge Court in Ajmer North, seeking a court order to halt filming until the concerns are addressed.

The complaint targets the film’s producers, directors, and actors for what Rathod describes as mockery of legal professionals. The Ajmer District Bar Association demands that the film be shelved, asserting that it compromises the dignity of lawyers and judges. The case is set for a hearing on May 7, as reported by India Today.

Rathod criticizes the portrayal of legal professionals in “Jolly LLB 3,” citing unrealistic characters and situations that lack respect for the court system. He argues that the film’s comedic yet disrespectful approach undermines public trust in judges and lawyers alike. Rathod hopes that his complaint will prompt filmmakers to depict the legal system with more accuracy and dignity in future productions.
